In 1984, a record-crowd of 73,227 fans showed up in Jacksonville to see the Bulls lose a heartbreaker to the Generals 28-26.  The Jacksonville Bulls averaged more than 45,000 fans a game in their two-year existence but never made the playoffs under head coach Lindy Infante.

The Bulls did produce future NFL All Pro’s like WR Gary Clark and DE Keith Millard, and Heisman Trophy winning running back Mike Rozier.
